On July 25th, 2009, Pants-Off Productions presented the first ever Homo's Got Talent Dance-Off Competition to a packed room of sexy queers at the E-Room.  A spoof of reality television dance shows, Homo's Got Talent gave local performers a chance to compete to win prizes from local businesses as well as the prestigious title of "Portland's Top Homo Dancer."  With MC Max Voltage at the helm, the night included dinosaur dancing, spandexed acro-balance superheroes, the infamous Cattitude Dance Ensemble, kinky pony prancing, choreographed yo-yo-ing, sexy cowboys, audience dance-offs and some whip cream and twinkie-play.

On July 31st, 2010, Homo's Got Talent was back and bigger than ever, with more numbers, more debauchery and a bigger venue at the Jupiter Hotel Courtyard!  There was were dancing homo-robots, a madonna-gaga mashup, sexy-creepy genderbending dolls, a camel toe dance, the infamous Feyonce, some deviant housewives, glittery time-space travelers with acro-balance moves & a space-ship pinata, sassy singing church ladies, sexy-political & oily burlesque, and condiments & hot-dogs flying through the air.  Will we do it again next year?  Only if we can scare up enough tarps!

Hall of Fame

Homo's Got Talent 2009 was chock full of drama, choreography, absurdity, shiny costumes and outrageous homosexuality!  But, in the end, the over-the-top shocking/amazing/fabulous Art School Drop-Outs took the cake (or maybe we should say, took the "twinkie") and the prestigious title of Portland's TOP Homo Dancers!  Contrats to them!  Cant wait to see what next year's competition has in store, so dust off those dancing shoes Portland, and prepare yourself for a homolicious tradition!

Homo's Got Talent 2010 Raised the bar with a classy venue (at the Jupiter Hotel Courtyard) and a dirty, messy, brilliant show.  In the end, the fabulous Kaj-Anne Pepper took the title, with their piece, GAGADONNA, including dance, live vocals,  commentary on the assimilation of queer culture into the mainstream, and a pink and gooey ending.

Homo's Got Talent 2011 continued the tradition with amazing dance-fueled performances!  With a standing ovation as well as the judges' unanimous decision Boomer Something, Michael Zero & the Clowns took home the title after performing a brilliant piece integrating elaborate costumes & props (including acro-balance, a balloon reveal and on-stage clown transformation) claiming "clown" as their radical freaky gender of choice!  See the video here!
