Homomentum: a queer cabaret showcases queer dance, burlesque & performance-art, with tons of glitter and ridiculousness at every turn!  Homomentum is just about to begin it's 3rd Season!  Past Homomentums featured watermelon fisting, cake sitting, radical cheer-leading, cucumber bobbing, vibrating-dryer riding, bear taming, celestial celebrating, muscle pumping, airport strip-searching, snow-man accessorizing, Xena homo-eroticizing, dirty miming and more!  With a different theme each month, audience participation, and MC Max Voltage at the helm, this future Homomentums are sure to put the gay in gaymazing.

Homomentum began in October of 2009, at the E-room.  The 2010/2011 moved to the Fez Ballroom, and the 2012 Season kicked off Jan 6th to a hugely succesful show at the Fez Ballroom!  See QPDX's live review & photos here!

Performer Call-Out
We encourage a diversity of performers, with a focus in dance, burlesque, drag & performance art, to be a part of this gay venture!  If you want to perform in Homomentum, send a short description of your act (genre & basic concept) to Max at mxvoltage@gmail.com

Inaugural Season
Homomentum's initial run happened at the E-room from October 2009-April 2010. With MC Max Voltage and crowd favorites such as Cattitude, Beefcake Burlesque, Untrained, I, Under the Radar/Swagger, Kaj-Anne Pepper, Felice Shays, Feyonce, CJ and the Dolls, and many more.  Themes included Freakeasy Speakeasy, Time-Warp Talent Show, Snowpocolypse, Icon-o-Clash, Love Bites, Gaycademy Awards, and Leather & Lace.  See our Facebook Page for photos!
